About Discovery Defense Arizona

We are the only self defense school in Arizona that has instructors teaching the martial art of Budo Taijutsu (ninjitsu) who have trained with both Black Belt Hall of Fame member Stephen K Hayes and Hanshi John Poliquin, founder of the Discovery Martial arts organization. We also have the only Professor Roy Dean Academy certified Brazilian jiu jitsu instructor in the state of Arizona.

We teach hands-on real world self-defense techniques. From standing techniques (striking, kicking, joint locks, throws) to ground and grappling to weapons (both using them and defending against them), we strive for creating a fun atmosphere that empowers people by giving them the ability to defend themselves or their family.
