Welcome to Sambo 7 in Billerica, MA - New England’s premier Sport & Combat Sambo Academy.

We offer elite martial arts training for adults and children, blending the explosive throws of Judo, the takedowns of wrestling, and the ground control of BJJ. Led by Head Coach Nikos Michaelidis (Pan-Am Medalist & 2x National Champion), our program is built on safety, science, and real world effectiveness.

For Kids (Ages 5+): Our youth program is led by a SafeSport Certified former Gymnastics Coach. We focus on discipline, acrobatics, and teaching children how to fall properly to build true confidence.

For Adults: Whether you want to compete in Sambo/Judo/BJJ or just get into fighting shape, we have a spot for you. Beginners are welcome.

Students at Sambo 7 learn from a Certified Sambo Coach, giving the academy a clear coaching foundation in sambo-based grappling. You can expect instruction that connects Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, judo, combat sambo, and sport sambo, so training feels practical whether you’re new to the mats or adding depth to an existing game. The coaching approach is well suited to students who want direct guidance across both youth and adult programs.
