Maelstrom South Jiu-Jitsu

Kronos affiliation Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym. Black belt head coach Mike Tiefenauer and Brown belt coach Scott Marler. Maelstrom South BJJ is the sister gym to Maelstrom BJJ in St. louis. We provide Gi and No Gi BJJ as well as wrestling and kickboxing.

Mike Tiefenauer teaches at Maelstrom South Jiu-Jitsu as a black belt, while Scott Marler brings brown belt experience to the coaching team. With both gi and no-gi training on the schedule, you can expect instruction that supports beginners through advanced grapplers across fundamentals classes, open mat, and regular adult sessions. The academy’s setup gives you a practical way to learn, drill, and roll under experienced guidance.
