About Clockwork Jiu Jitsu

Clockwork Jiu Jitsu, the Rockaway Chapter is located in the heart of Rockaway Beach, NYC. We’re an affiliate of the renowned Clockwork Jiu Jitsu Academy located in downtown Manhattan.

The Rockaway Chapter is owned by Head Instructor Matt Muro and Instructor Kyle Terboss, both blackbelts under Josh Griffiths.

At Clockwork Rockaway, we aim to provide an ego-free and friendly yet high level training environment. We believe that Jiu Jitsu is for EVERYONE and that EVERYONE can benefit from Jiu Jitsu.

Matt and Kyle combined bring over 30 years of Jiu Jitsu experience to the Rockaway Community. What keeps us in love and involved with this sport is the constant flow of people we see who’s lives change for the better when they discover Jiu Jitsu.
