About American Elite Grappling

American Elite Grappling (AEG) Pittsburgh is led by 2nd degree black belt Brian Cowin.

AEG was created by Ron Keslar, head instructor of American Elite Grappling and AKA Coach in San Jose, California.

Brian is one of the highly regarded teachers of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, and was one of the most active competitors for 13 years with over 400 advanced division matches in 5 weight classes. In addition to 19 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, and Judo, Brian is also an Army Infantry veteran and experienced former Bodyguard. Brian has been creating and leading educational programs for children and adults his entire life.
