About Yount Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Professor Andy is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black belt and head instructor of Huntsville Jiu- Jitsu. Professor Andy started his journey 29 years ago when his dad introduced him to Jiu-Jitsu. It was around this time the Gracie family was just arriving in the USA and were dominating UFC and MMA. His career in Jiu-Jitsu was paused for a while when he started playing professional baseball. After a hand injury ended his baseball career, Andy decided to dedicate himself to Jiu-Jitsu with the goal of owning and operating several Jiu- Jitsu Gyms in the East Texas area. Andy received his black belt in 2016 while training under the lineage of Professor JW Wright, Professor David Adiiv, and Master Royler Gracie.
