Spartan Academy

At Spartan Academy, our mission is to help build a Traditional Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/self defense community in the Highland Lakes area. Our objective is to pass on what we have learned in our over 30 years of Self-defense training to our fellow residents. By advocating a sense of responsibility for one's personal safety, we aim develop the "we refuse to be a victim" mentality among our students.

You can expect coaching from Justin Hakes, Eric Ogden, Michael Cuellar, and Jeffrey Eapmon, giving you access to a range of teaching styles across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Youth Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA. That mix is especially helpful if you want clear fundamentals, steady guidance, and room to grow at your own pace. Whether you are stepping onto the mats for the first time or refining your game, the coaching team is set up to support structured training and practical skill development.
