Lone Star Black Belt Academy

Lone Star Black Belt Academy was established on May 9, 2008 by Steven and Jennifer Jackson. 17 years later, Lone Star Black Belt Academy has grown to become a premier martial arts academy.

Since 2000, over 15,000 students have trained under the tutelage of Steven Jackson. He is currently a 7th DAN black belt in American Tae Kwon Do. He has over 35 years of American Kickboxing experience and 20 years of Muay Thai Kickboxing experience. He is also a Professor Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

We are a 17-time state, 13-time national, and 10-time world championship school and a TKO Tournament Producer. We work with students of all ages, needs, & abilities from students wanting to be World Champions to those just eager to learn the art.

You’ll learn from a large coaching team that includes Christine Ngo, Valerie Riggs, Jason Snyder, Rhonda White, Michael Flaherty, Tori Williams, Clayton Martin, Matt Rod, Ricky Williams, Lupe Gutierrez, Haley Jackson, and Melanie Watson. That depth of instruction supports a training environment where students can get attention across Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, Taekwondo, karate, and self-defense classes, with options for both children and adults.
