This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on shins is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient. LTB is an authentic Muay Thai gym. They focus on not only the combative side of Muay Thai, but also the traditions and culture aspect of the art which is very important in Thailand.
We also have an Evening Jiu-Jitsu program that strictly focuses on the combative side of Jiu-Jitsu along with the cultural aspect of the sport. Jiu-Jitsu is predominantly a ground-based fighting style. Using the principles of leverage, angles, pressure, timing, as well as knowledge to conduct submission holds, chokes, joint locks, and other tactics so that a smaller and weaker person can defend themselves to control, subdue, and dominate against a larger and stronger opponent. Our Jiu-Jitsu motto is, “it's better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war.”
